Making a Claim is Simple

We don't settle for "It's being processed." Our dedicated team advocates fiercely to ensure your claim is paid out fairly and swiftly.

What To Do Immediately After an Incident

If you've just experienced an accident, theft, or fire in Uganda, do not admit liability or sign any third-party compensation agreements before speaking to us.

  • Ensure the safety of all people involved first.
  • Report strictly to the Uganda Police and obtain a Police Report/Reference.
  • Take clear photographs of all damages and the general scene.
  • Contact the Stallion Emergency Line immediately.

Our 4-Step Claims Process

We handle the heavy lifting. Here is how it works once you notify us.

1

Notification

You notify us via phone, WhatsApp, or email immediately after the incident providing brief initial details.

2

Documentation

Within 48 hours, you submit the completed claim form alongside required evidence (Police Report, Medical Bills, etc.).

3

Assessment

We schedule an underwriter's loss adjuster to assess the vehicle/property and negotiate the repair costs.

4

Settlement

The insurer issues the Discharge Voucher. Once signed, your repair begins or funds are transferred directly.

Claims Frequently Asked Questions

Once all documents (especially the Police Report) are submitted, an assessor is assigned within 24 hours. Minor scratch/dent repairs can be approved in 3-5 days. Total write-offs take roughly 14-21 days for full financial settlement.

Absolutely not. Repairing your vehicle before an authorized assessor from the insurance company inspects it will almost certainly result in your claim being immediately repudiated (rejected).

Be very careful. Cash offers on the scene are often vastly lower than the true cost of hidden mechanical repairs. Additionally, accepting private compensation can void your right to claim through your insurer if the other party's money runs out. Always notify us first.

An excess (or deductible) is the first portion of a claim which you, the policyholder, are required to bear. For example, if your excess is UGX 200,000 and the repair bill is UGX 1,000,000, the insurer will pay the garage UGX 800,000. It prevents insurers from being burdened with tiny, administrative-heavy claims.
